Case Study: Federal Credit Union

Our client, a federal credit union, was migrating from a premise-based Exchange system to Exchange Online (O365). We worked with them to ensure accessibility to company email and sensitive data met security requirements during their transition.

Business Problem:

The federal credit union required that only selected users could have access to emails/data from mobile devices. Other users could only have access at certain business locations. They also wanted to minimize capabilities to remove data and data loss protection monitoring.

Solution:

Uncommon Solutions deployed the Enterprise Mobility + Security solution, which includes Microsoft Cloud security functions.

Results:

Intune/Azure Compliance Policies to restrict access to O365 company data on a mobile device and to certain locations. DLP Policies were also implemented to monitor sensitive data in case it would be removed or changed. As a precaution, MFA policies were added for external identity access to the client’s important information.
