Case Study: Financial Company

A financial company was acquired by our client and needed to be integrated. Uncommon worked with the client team to develop and execute an onboarding plan for the acquired company while identifying best practices for the future.

Business Problem:

Our client needed support during integration to subsidize the amount of staff available. However, the acquired company was an Apple Mac environment with user identities in Google Suite. A migration path was needed that would map user emails, data and user grouping to a similar layout to maximize business continuity.


Uncommon Solutions partnered with our client to develop a migration plan that onboarded new users in a timely and efficient manner while establishing best practices for future acquisitions.


Uncommon and our client were able to migrate mailboxes, personal and shared document locations and user information to appropriate O365 groups and locations. Uncommon then provided post-migration support and continuing modern workplace plans.
